We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning Georgian Irish style Victorian sofa with hand carved Hawk claw & Ball feet and Hawk head detailing I’ve never seen another of this quality style and charm, it is simply exquisite throughout, the upholstery seems period and original, we have lightly restored it to include a professional upholstery clean The legs are all carved from solid slabs of mahogany, they have been stained and polished from new, the end result is something which should be classed as art furniture. The arms are hawk heads eating worms I think surrounded by flowers Dimensions Height 104 cm Width 215 cm Depth 78 cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
