Great mirror attributed to Gabriel Viaardo.

Mirror with outlines with an irregular shape supported by the claws of an imposing carved and golden golden leafy wood.

Data from the end of the 800 'This imposing Gothic - Chinoiserie mirror is attributed to the great French ebanist Gabriel Viaardo.

Gabriel Viaardot was a master in the creation of freely interpreted furniture in "Chinese-Japanese style" adapting them to the European taste of the time.

Note the skill with which the dragon was made, the perfect carving of the muzzle and the legs make it seem alive and fierce.

This amazing mirror is capable of furnishing an environment alone given its severity and austerity.
