We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning 19th century easy wingback armchair after the great Thomas Chippendale A very good looking well made and decorative armchair, the flat top arms are very 18th century, the carving and general style are as mentioned after the legend that is Thomas Chippendale. This chair is in fine order throughout, the upholstery is free from marks, the cushion is fully upholstered on both sides so should the worst happen and you mark one side you can simply flip it over. It has lovely feather filled internals, the flat top arms are a favourite for all those who love easy access in and out of a chair. The timber has been waxed and polished, it has a lovely vintage worn patina all over that you can only achieve through honest age and fair use.
