This beautiful baluster vase is a production of Accolay potters. The work of the enamel is as original as it is rare, it evokes a green, cracked marble. Ceramics are of good size and a large presence, with a particularly decorative mineral aspect.

In the middle of the 20th century, Accolay was the setting for a real ceramic revolution. Four former students of Alexandre Kostanda settled in the small village of the Yonne in the mid -1940s, many potters will follow their example. For forty years, the production of Accolay potters will be impressive, original and daring, characterized by thick, often speckled enamels and crazy creativity.
