Very nice and large drawing and oil painting. Representing a young peasant woman, farmer giving hay to a goat. Very good quality of execution and beautiful colors.

Signed « M.Miroude ». In the style of Hugues Merle. Merle is a French painter of the 19th century. He is a genre painter and portraitist. He deals most often with moral or sentimental subjects. He exhibited several times at the Salon and worked at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
