Please contact us. “I imagined a piece of furniture with a primitive yet sacred appearance that would pay homage to great woods. “The Altamira buffet/ sideboard is a (treasure) chest made up of large elements, all different from each other, but which fit together and create a composition similar to a small piece of architecture. It is the relationship between the pieces that make up the object, the way they are chosen and are positioned, that render it whole. Each joint line is unique, each side of the object is different, just as each piece of wood is singular, and different from another. THE GALLERY Secondome is a Design Gallery focused on contemporary designers and innovative projects worldwide. Founded by Claudia Pignatale in 2006, Secondome produces its own collection of Furniture and objects working to launch experimental designers, artisans and master craftsmen. Its mission lies in highlighting both the high quality manufacture of the Made in Italy brand and the originality of products, emphasizing the tradition of Italian craftsmanship whilst breaking the mold of lifeless objets d’art. The artisanal nature of Secondome’s production makes each piece individual and highly personalized.
