Vintage Design

Important Khmer storage jar in brown/iron glazed stoneware, with incised patterns around its neck and at the base. Potters used wheels to produce these ceramics: The rounded bottom, flared rim, neck and color are typical of Angkor period production. Cambodia, 11th or 12th century. H 63 CM X Diameter 33 CM X Useful D 55 CM. Neck diameter 10 CM. Millennial piece with almost modern and timeless shapes and proportions, in very good condition with rare minor losses. Provenance: Estate of the art dealer and collector Claude de Marteau. Sold with certificate of provenance.

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
