We are delighted to offer for sale this original solid hardwood Anglo-Indian Burmese hand carved chair The condition is good, it has been restored to include having the frames checked, glued and clamped where required. It has some old repairs to the back in the form of cast iron supports, these are nice old repairs The frame joints as mentioned have been checked and secured where needed, I wouldn’t recommend this as an everyday chair, more as its intended purposes which is decoration and conversation. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
