About This Piece

Vintage Design

Pair of Property Armchairs, Directoire style, with solid Blond Walnut structures.
They are covered with a very nice Light Blue Hare Cloth, mainly made of Cotton and Linen. The finishes are in Brushed Stainless Steel Nails.
The backrests are straight and sober.
The curved armrests are also very pure.
The construction and the dimensions of the seats make them particularly comfortable. They are squared, and have been traditionally made with straps, springs and horsehair.
Each of these Seats rests on four Sabres feet.
Note the relative rarity of this Pair of Armchairs made of Light Woods - in this case Walnut - where its counterparts are more frequently made of Mahogany. They have benefited from a Quality Handcrafted work, and a judicious choice of fabric, which makes these Seats adaptable to both Contemporary and Ancient interiors.
