Museum antique coffee table/console table gilded with marble top around 1860, Paris, Louis XVI Richly carved solid wood body with rich ornaments, finely carved in Louis XVI. Fluted and tapered high legs, richly carved and grooved. Openwork and finely carved frame, crowned with shellwork in the centre. Very ornate and lavishly ornate. Extremely finely carved. Paris around 1860-80s. Slightly protruding and profiled marble cover plate in a fantastically beautiful marble mottled. A fantastic high-quality and antique piece of furniture that is unparalleled.
