Vintage Design

A handsome antique country pine chest dating to the 19th century.
Made from solid pine the chest is attractively styled with three wide drawers which are finished with turned wooden handles. The chest is set on bracket feet and finished with a scalloped apron.
The wood has a wax polished finish which has a nice mid sheen.
This piece has a lot of character and charm, it will suit a farmhouse or cottage and is perfect for anyone who loves well aged pine.

Condition

The chest is generally in solid structural condition with many cosmetic marks of age and use.
The top has a couple of areas of old filler to the back and various dents and scratches below the waxed finish. The front right hand foot has an old patch repair.
