Rare and unusual Amsterdam School Dutch Art Deco armchair, attributed to Michel de Klerk, circa 1930s. This sculptural armchair features a stained oak and ebony frame, resting on five ebonized conical feet. The sides and back, shaped like protective shields, envelop the sitter, offering both style and comfort. The seat is upholstered in luxurious purple velvet, crafted by Atelier Speelman, adding a refined touch to the bold, architectural lines of the piece.
