Rare classic type of set tables. England 1930s.
The sentence tables of the English company "J.M.Doughty & Sons Ltd are attributed. A very similar model is documented with label.
These sentence tables, also known as "Nesting Tables", were a popular interior in the late twenties and the 1930s.
In the meantime, they are very difficult to find on the international design market.
Very solid chrome frame. The black silver mirror glass was also mounted on wood. The tables are in the original state of the 1930s with very slightly age -appropriate signs of wear on the glass surface.
The chrome frames were hand polished. Good condition .
The smallest sentence table only has a small "Katscher" in the glass on a corner. See attached detailed photo.
