The small size sugar bowl made of silver plated metal is an example of Art Deco style.
The sugar bowl is elegant and minimalistic. Its decorativeness focuses primarily on the chiaroscuro values obtained by the shiny, reflective surface.
The base is round, like the lid, and the belly is polygonal. Symmetrically composed of trapezoidal elements that create facades, reflecting light. The handles have a simple, also geometric form.
The Art Deco style gave up ornaments in favor of displaying the solid and geometry of the object, which has become synonymous with modernity.
