Vintage Design

A pair of small, extraordinary beauty, Polish rugs. High artistic quality - first class kilm. The mature, balanced design is based on a combination of traditional, folk floral ornaments with modernist geometrization and simplification of forms.

Kilims have a tread form. The composition is built vertically. The middle part with a vase in the center and flowers flanking it is a modernist transformation of the Renaissance arabesque motif. Around, on a white and red border there is a frieze of Polish wild flowers and leafy twigs. The flat flowers, seen from above, give the impression of a ''flower rug''. The flowers were handed over with precision allowing for the identification of species - primroses, poppies, pansies and daisies.

Contrasting colors of red, intense indigo and white as well as small inserts of pink, yellow and green emphasize the modern character of the project.

The kilim format allows it to be hung on the wall as a beautiful decoration flanking a centrally arranged plan. Kilims have a long tradition in Polish culture. They were used both as decorations replacing pictures on the walls, and as warming - insulating and heating rooms.

A pair is an additional advantage that allows you to freely compose them in the interior.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.

Delivery will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
