About This Piece

Between figurative and abstraction, this large canvas made in acrylic evokes the tumultuous movement of a breaking wave and is inspired by the magnificent waves of the painter Sophie Duplain. The different shades of blues and greens, mixed with gray, black and brown accentuate the contrasts. We can note the work of the knife which brings thickness and relief. A few small projections complete the composition. The outline is painted black.
