This Grand Vase Pansu is a production of the potters of Accolay. Its special speckled enamel is typical of Accolay productions, gradient blue to light red. The body of the vase is nicely turned, bright and pleasant proportion. The ceramic is beautiful, of a great presence, to the particularly decorative sophisticated appearance.

The vase is very beautiful invoice, enamelling is thick, mineral. The vase is in very good condition. The room is signed in the mass on the pellet.

In the mid-twentieth century, Accolay was the case of a real revolution in ceramics. Four alumni of Alexandre Kostanda settle in the small village of Yonne in the mid-40s, many potters will follow their example. For forty years, the production of the Potiers d'Accolay will be impressive, original and bold characterized by thick, often speckled enamels and crazy creativity.
