Vintage Design

A charming pair of late 20th century eastern hardwood tables which could be used as bedside tables.

The tables are solid and fairly heavy with unusual shaped tops and decorative bases.

I have painted each in a water based black paint before highlighting the bases with gold, lightly distressing the paintwork and then finishing with beeswax.

The paintwork is solid colour and is smooth and fairly matt.

CONDITION

The tables are generally in solid structural condition. Their construction is fairly rustic and there are some gaps here and there near the tops. The wood to the top of the tables is textured and characterful and one of the table tops does appear slightly angled.
