This is a vase with beautiful blue glaze from the series Nordlys (Northern Light in danish) designed by Maria Philippi for Søholm Ceramics. The name Northern Light comes from the glazing, when the lights hit the glossy glaze the reflections make stripes which refers to the northern light. There is a wheel (or the sun?) depicted on two sides of the vase. Marked with "Søholm Stentöj, Denmark, 3315" under the vase.
