Bohémian Style Female Mannequin from Stockman Paris

A wonderfully poetic object, this Stockman mannequin dates from the 1920s. On a wooden stand, in patinated black, the haute couture mannequin is in superb condition. Dating from a time when the making of clothes was still entrusted to seamstresses, we can imagine the superb toilets coming out of the workshops. This model of great finesse displays soft lines and waspish measurements. After having helped to highlight women, this beautiful and rare retro object will bring a tender and soft note to a romantic bedroom or the window of a carefully decorated boutique.

The Stockman mannequin is old and mounted on a solid wood base, in a superb patinated and glossy black color. It is stable and in superb condition. The model corresponds to a size 42 (rather fine!). It is beautifully fine, dressed in coated yellow cotton canvas. This shows some traces of use but no through holes. It is marked "Stockman Paris" on the front and back. This mannequin is in a fairly rare state of conservation.

38cm wide, 22cm thick, 80-86cm high for the mannequin and 160cm total height. 55cm foot diameter.
