Vintage Design

Pair of table lamps made in Italy between the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s, whose design is attributed to the Italian designer Tommaso Barbi, known for creating super decorative furnishing elements. This pair of 70s table lamps are the perfect size to be placed on two bedside tables, but also at the ends of a long chest of drawers. 44cm high thanks to their handcrafted lampshade, they have a width of 28cm. The "Fan" shape of the lampshade, cut on the back, will allow you to place the lamps close to the wall and have a beautiful light effect. These lamps have a classic and essential design because, as in all Tommaso Barbi products, it is the materials used in their purest form that decorate and embellish. Bamboo canes, Woven Wicker Cane, lacquering, chrome plating and gold-plated brass... and in this case the versatility of ceramic pretends to be marble, red Sicilian marble to be precise, which with its gray and white veins creates an elegant pattern, which explodes chromatically combined with golden metal and black enamel. The lamps work and are intact, they show minimal signs of oxidation on the golden metal parts. The lampshades were recently made by a craftsman based on our design and our choice of color.
