This contemporary original print represents the Cerne Abbas giant, the figure carved on the slope of a steep hill. This giant naked man is located in England, near the village of Cerne Abbas, north of Dorchester, in Dorset. The engraving, 55 meters high and 51 wide, is formed by a trench 30 cm wide, 30 cm deep, made by tearing the grass and digging the earth up to the underlying plaster. In the right hand the giant holds a 37 meter long club. Composed by three different etchings, each olf these titled on the right margin, this is a very interesting contemporary artwork not to be missed for your home collection! Joe Tilson (London, 1928 -) The English sculptor and painter was trained at St. Martin's School of Art and at the Royal College of Art in London. Obtained the Prix de Rome (1955), it was in Italy until 1957; later he taught in various English art schools and at the School of visual art in New York (1966).
