Actualités is an amusing satirical illustration by the French illustrator and caricaturist, Cham (alias Count Amédée de Noé, 1818-1879) realized in 1840. Beautiful Hand-colored lithograph on ivory colored paper. Signed on the plate and dated on the lower center. With the description on the lower in French. In very good condition except for diffused foxng on the marginsof whitish frame. Colorful satiric scene of folk in a crowd and a suffering standing man with a stick in the front, through confident strokes, depicted by mastery.
