Vintage Design

Pair of nankin porcelain vases, with closed shape, reduced mouth and flat seat. These vases have a polychrome enameled decor turning with battle scenes. Samurai, armed with DAO swords and spears, are painted against a stylized landscape. The edges are dressed in a collar decorated with oriental dragons. The collar presents dogs from Fô as ameses. Each bottom is stamped.
Renowned for the quality of its porcelain, Nankin offers us two finely executed vases over a hundred years ago.
