We are delighted to offer for this lovely pair of hand carved Georgian style eagle head and claw & ball feet armchairs A very good looking and well made pair. Based on a Georgian Irish design dating back to the 18th century. They are more pieces of art furniture now being so decorative They have been restored to include being reupholstered in this nice think grey wool upholstery, the frames have been cleaned waxed and polished, there are some colour variations on the back legs to one chair, I'm not sure why, otherwise they are in lovely order throughout Dimensions Height:- 105cm Width:- 78.5cm Depth:- 72cm Seat height:- 48cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
