Four scantily clad cupids grouped on a rock, partly flowers, partly holding flower arrangements in their hands, the flowers as a typical attribute of the Meissen spring representations. The group is based on a rock plinth of oval shape with gold raised rocaille decor and stands on an additional, matching, stepped plinth with rocaille cartouches on the front and back, surrounded by three-dimensional flower festoons in the flute. Gold decoration. Manufactory: Meissen Germany Dating: 1750 - 1755 Material: white porcelain, glossy finish Technique: handmade porcelain, finest hand painting Dimensions: total height: 19.0 cm / 7.48 in figure height: 13.0 cm / 5.11 in width: 16.0 cm / 6.29 in depth: 12.5 cm / 4.92 in Marks: Blue Meissen underglaze crossed sword mark on Base underside embossed number: 267 (not model number). Condition: very good overall condition - no damage, very slight wear on the gold on the figure part.
