About This Piece

Vintage Design

Pair of 1700 embossed copper arms applied on a carved poplar wood core and silvered on the side of the base edge. In place of the tip we find a lacquered wooden candle with a connection for a large E27 bulb powered by an external electric wire. Not working. This monumental pair of Italian wall lights bears traces of mercury silvering.

They are in a good state of conservation, are of Lombard origin and date back to 1700.
