Ermes Copper And Alabaster Pendant Light 2 by Alabastro Italiano Dimensions: D 30 x W 150 x H 300 cm. Materials: White alabaster and copper. Available in different finishes: Shiny Silver, Bronze, Brushed Brass, Ruggine of Florence, Brushed Burnished, Shiny Gold, Brushed Black, Freedom Green, Shiny Black and Copper. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. Ermes, known as the messenger of the gods, is the deity this line is inspired by. A tubular element supports and connects four alabaster half spheres, through this play of symmetries and correspondences we want to reproduce the idea of communication, a moment of meeting between division and union; it is also no coincidence that Hermes is the god of travel and borders. After years of experience in the family business, which specializes in design and lighting, Riccardo and Alberto Ongarato found the brand Alabastro Italiano. Each project is conceived and designed to give a strong sign of recognizability and uniqueness. The use of precious materials such as alabaster, brass, leather and blown glass, worked by the skilful hands of our craftsmen, are combined to create “timeless” objects. from the depths of the earth to the light of the sun.
