Stunning, extra large circa 1802 dated aqua blue hand painted European clothes trunk or marriage coffer chest I have recently purchased a very large collection of these original, antique painted wardrobes and trunks. This one is an exceptionally good looking well made and collectable piece, the hand painted detailing is exquisite throughout, this one as mentioned is pretty much the largest of its type you will ever see, it has very rare aqua blue paint and would have belonged to a very wealthy family, it is dated to the front 1802 Condition wise this chest has all the original paint, finish and hardwear, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect, all of which add to the honesty, charm and charisma of the wardrobe Dimensions Height:- 70.5cm Width:- 151cm Depth:- 65cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
