Vintage Design

This beautiful antique bridal chest dates from around 1900 and has an extremely decorative painting. This example comes from South-Eastern Europe and is a beautiful example of folk art from that time. In the past, it was customary to give bridal furniture like this as a gift to the couple at a wedding. This furniture was subsequently placed on the farm in a stately room that was only rarely used for high-ranking visitors or special occasions. All our bridal chests have been checked and, if necessary, restored, although the characteristic appearance of these cases has been retained. This copy is mainly decorated with colorful floral paintings. 38cm high, 104cm wide, 44cm deep.
