French Art Deco Nickel Le Mirophar Wall Mirrors with Magnifying Element & Light from Brot, Set of 2

About This Piece

Vintage Design

1 pair of wall mirrors, 1 x magnifying mirror, 1 x normal view, from the Art Deco period from France with lighting. The mirrors are marked Le Mirophar Brot depose. The plates are still riveted on.

The design of the illuminated mirror was created in 1927, the Mirophar was born. It found its place in luxury hotels as a shaving and makeup mirror.

The mirrors have a ball joint, can be tilted in any direction, therefore very flexible adjustment.
The center frosted small glass, through which the light passes, sits in a nickel-plated frame. The mirrors have a bayonet mount.
The frame in which the mirrors sit has a strict rectilinear shape.
The mountings are nickel-plated brass.
The wall mirrors are made in a heavy quality, elaborate, detailed and very well finished.
The mirror glass itself with normal view is marked on the back with: ANICHE 11.2.29.
