Painted canvas representing a Renaissance style court lady, diaphanous, holding her face in three quarters, with her ruff around her neck and a feather in her headdress.

Dimensions: H x W cm

Contemporary French work. Raw linen canvas hand painted with natural pigments and golden patterns made with copper leaf. Canvas stretched using two wooden sticks, the bottom one of which is removable, allowing it to be rolled up for transport.
