This beautiful photograph Inside 1 was shot by the Italian photographer Giulio Gonella. Direct print on aluminum from the print series Inside, open edition. Hand-signed by the artist. The series “Inside” comes from a personal experience; it is an “inner vision” that tells a deep solitude, something that makes all equals. The X-ray plates disclose a sort of solid soul, that erase our differences, like “male” or “female”. Over that surface, a dimension is plotted, the substance of a nature: the human one. Giulio Gonella aims, through the camera, to expose his subjects with their own bodies. Over that surface, a dimension is plotted disclosing a substratum - the substance of a nature, something human that, as exposed as it appears, is constituted by the interior of the subject's identity.
