We are delighted to offer for sale this rare original mahogany wood military campaign chest of drawers with original pencil signed detailing A good early piece, its a traditional formation so three over two drawers, the drawer internals are made to a very high standard, just look at the cross timber in the base, I've not seen two support beams before The piece is signed Langton, 93st High Lainton which sounds American to me We have cleaned waxed and polished the piece, it has normal patina marks from honest age and fair use, please view the pictures carefully Dimensions: Height:- 90 cm Width:- 105.5 cm Depth:- 48.5 cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. . Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
