We are delighted to offer for sale this rare and solid Mahogany Military Officers Campaign chest of drawers. If you’re in the market for a super original Campaign chest of drawers then look no further, this piece is wonderful, totally unrestored other than a good clean and wax, with all the period correct patination Mahogany is one of the rarer timbers for campaign furniture, it has a wonderful almost camphor wood look to it, especially on the side panels Condition wise is period correct for a campaign used piece. There will be marks etc everywhere as you would expect, all of which add to the charm and charisma of the piece. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
