Most lovely Art Nouveau cherub figurine attached to centrepiece. made circa 1919 modelled by Carl KLIMT (born 1876 in Teplitz - died 1945 in Zinnwald / Bohemia) Hallmarked: manufactured by Bernhard Bloch / Eichwald (Bohemia / model number 6306 / 10 / 45) black stamp mark = Made in Czechoslovakia / D 119 material is ceramics (glossy finish / painted).
Subject: Most lovely naked cherub figurine stands in centre of a large centrepiece consisting of a round platter with hoisted wall. The cherub being situated on a heightened round base squeezes a large bundle of flowers' blossoms with leaves / additionally, behind the figurine there are flowers with leaves visible, too. The centrepiece is based on a footring.
