Vintage Design

The village of Noron-la-Poterie is known for its shaped and utilitarian pieces, made of salt-treated or enameled stoneware. The Jean Dubost pottery was one of the most important in this village of potters, where the most inspired pieces were produced. This large vase with a striated body is a ceramic striking in its size and execution. In a deep and shiny brown hue, characteristic of the land of Noron, this vase is impressive and particularly decorative. A rare and original piece, with a primitive appearance, it is a powerful artistic production by the potter Jean Dubost.

The salt stoneware vase is very large and is in very good condition. It is signed Jean Dubost France on the reverse. Some traces of use are visible on the surface of the vase.
