Vintage Design

Large rectangular Louis XVI style mirror.
His ice cream is surrounded by a mahogany frame and underlined by a brass wand, cut into Greek corners on the top angles. This framing is made up of two large pilasters on the sides embellished with inlays of brass nets, a decor that is also found on the pediment of this mirror. The latter is surmounted by a molded cornice, also decorated with brass chopsticks.
We will also appreciate the square plates which embellish the frame, in smooth brass for those of the top, finely striated for those at the bottom. Finally, two decorations meticulously cut into foliage garnish the Greek corners of this mirror.
