About This Piece

Nude is an original Contemporary artwork realized in the 1970s by the italian Contemporary artist Leo Guida (1992 - 2017). Original drawing in watercolor and China ink on ivory-colored paper, glued on cardboard (50 x 35 cm). Hand-signed and dated on the lower margin. Cat. INV.B 184B. This artwork represents a nude woman, covered by a kind of armor. On the back of this artwork, there is also another drawing that portrays a nude woman, again in watercolor and pen on paper. Hand-signed and dated on the lower margin. Cat. INV.B 184A (34.5 x 31.5 cm). Good conditions. Some foxings traces. Yellowing paper. Leo Guida (1992 - 2017). Sensitive to current issues, artistic movements and historical techniques, Leo Guida has been able to weave with many generations of young people in the course of his career, a productive conversation on art and the function of the artist. He was a teacher at the Liceo Artistico in Latina from 1969 to 1985, and he trained many of the artists who today characterize the Italian cultural scene.
