About This Piece

Vintage Design

Magnificent set consisting of a sofa / bench, two queen-style armchairs and two Louis XV style chairs.

Each piece is made of painted and gilded wood, molded and carved with decoration of foliage, volutes and stylized flowers.
The pieces with armrests have armrests with cuffs, curved and molded supports.
The seats are wide and deep, with shell crosspieces.
Each room is very well lined with floral velvet in shades of pink and green.

The sofa rests on eight curved arched legs with falling flowers.

The very beautiful pair of queen-style armchairs are in painted and gilded rechampi wood, molded and carved with scrolls and stylized flowers. The feet are curved arched with flower falls. Note some wear to the velvet on the seat of one of the two armchairs.
