Vintage Design

Extendable Louis XVI table in mahogany, veneered, equipped with a drawer in the under-top band and four truncated-pyramidal legs. The table is of Italian origin, dates back to the mid-1800s and is in perfect condition, restored and polished with shellac to enhance the grain of the essence.

When closed it appears as a writing table. By opening the top like a book and overturning it on the leg which is turned and opened to act as a support, see image below, the surface of the top doubles, becoming quadrangular and measuring 101 x 103 cm.
