Lying Naked is an original drawing realized by Antonio Scordia in 1955. Marker on paper Signed and dated lower right. Dedication lower right Good conditions except for slight yellowing of the paper Antonio Scordia (Santa Fè, Argentina, 1918 - Rome, 1988) was an Italian painter. In 1921, he moved to Rome with his family where he attended the School of the Academy of France. In 1945, he exhibited for the first time in Rome and, in 1947, he moved to Argentina. In 1949, he went back to Europe (in Paris and in London). In 1952, he participated for the first time in the Venice Biennal. During the 1950s and the 1960s, he participated in important international expositions. Between 1965 and 1970, he lived in London and collaborated with Federico Fellini for the set design of the Satyricon. In 1976, the first important retrospective exhibition took place at the Palazzo Barberini. In the 1980s, he exhibited in Rome, and participated at the exhibitions Generazione Anni Dieci, Index, and L'Astratto Italiano e i suoi maestri degli anni '50. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
