About This Piece

Acrylic on canvas and sands of the world. Mixing of materials (sands, paints) and provenances (sands of the countries of the world mixed or side by side). Thematic: the baobab tree "upside down", a thousand-year-old witness, tortured by the earth and by men, but always present, a monstrous creature which hatches such fine flowers ... The common thread, the line of horizon, translates the link and the osmosis sky / earth, branches / roots, continuous circulation between micro and macrocosm, materiality and spirituality. The earth is cracked, probably arid and dry, but the vegetation does not expect much for leaves and flowers spring from this sap present in this straightness of trees carrying life. Michèle Magnien, Mileg, was born in 1952. After a career in the hospital environment, she embarked on an artistic career. Since then, she has been regularly selected in the largest painting salons in France and abroad: the salon of French artists in Paris, the national society of fine arts in Paris ... Mileg experiments with materials, especially sands, the texture of which fascinates her. Mileg mainly uses acrylic on canvas, and inserts sands, mineral materials such as volcanic lapilli, stones, slates ... Original creations that make you dream. Delivery will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
