About This Piece

An original work, acrylic on canvas with sands from around the world glued and volcanic lapilli glued to the canvas. A meticulous technique for an impressive rendering of finesse in baobabs and a perspective of significant depth. Willingness of simplicity, without overloading the landscape, simple graphic line. Just be there and contemplate… The baobabs, roots of the sky, always the main source of my inspiration, (allée de Morondava - Madagascar) impose their stature, inviting to follow this path towards the light. Materially the sands of the world embody a philosophy of unity: on the same canvas, different countries, often politically opposite, far from each other geographically can symbolically unite to create unity on the canvas. Michèle Magnien, Mileg, was born in 1952. After a career in the hospital environment, she embarked on an artistic career. Since then, she has been regularly selected in the largest painting salons in France and abroad: the salon of French artists in Paris, the national society of fine arts in Paris ... Mileg experiments with materials, especially sands, the texture of which fascinates her. Mileg mainly uses acrylic on canvas, and inserts sands, mineral materials such as volcanic lapilli, stones, slates ... Original creations that make you dream. A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
