Design: Isao Hosoe Production: Bilumen, Italy, 1971

Awards and recognitions: she participated in the “Plastic chairs – Kartell” exhibition in 1976 at CentroKappa, Milan, and was selected for the “Italian Design 1964-1974” exhibition at the Milan Triennale.

One of the first injection-molded plastic furniture pieces. There was great expectation around it, first and foremost for the type of production, which opened up new possibilities for the industry. Furthermore, it was important for the formal context in which this product was inserted, a true child of its era, with brilliant colors and a conceptual base that explores multifunctionality.
