Finest condiment set, consisting of ruby red glass bottles, with silver stoppers. Vintage / made in Vienna (1854).

These most elegant glass bottles had once been part of a silver condiment set made 1854. The silver holder having kept the bottles was shaped as a sculptured elephant's figurine attached to wheels being in working order (this condiment set could be moved along the table's plate = RARITY !). The glass parts of this condiment set are made of ruby red shaded glass (excellently cut / partially facet cut) / two glass bottles having stoppers are destined for keeping oil and vinegar, the other two are covered by silver lids having function of spreading out salt and pepper.

Made 1854. The stoppers consist of SILVER 13 LOT ( = 812, 5 silver ) / checked
Measures: 1) height of oil & vinegar bottle: 22.0 cm / 8.66 inches 2) height of pepper & salt bottle: 15.5 cm / 6.10 inches diameter of bottles: 4.5 cm / 1.77 inches
Condition: Excellent/ the glass items haven't any scratches, cracks, splinters or any other damages.
