Jeeg robot of steel (鋼鉄ジーグ?, Kōtetsu Jiigu) is a Japanese manga of the mecha genre that debuted in a magazine published by Kōdansha in April 1975. It was conceived by Gō Nagai and cartoonist Tatsuya Yasuda. A 46-episode anime television series was made from the manga in the same year, produced by Toei Animation.

The film, which features the Italian theme song, was released in theaters on November 17, 1979, distributed by Italian Pictures.
