Set of 4 pink pierced table vase by Studio Thier & van Daalen Dimensions: W 35 x D 25 x H 25cm Materials: Steel, Glass The studio was keen to find a way to display the fluidity of glass. Therefore they sought the contrast between the Industrial steel and the Craft of glass blowing, a contradiction and a confluence. They designed many steel pedestals with a grid to experiment with the flexibility of glass. It is a research in form, counterform, fluidity, transparency, repetition, light, and reflections. These vases are an ode to the glassblowing Craft by literally placing it on a pedestal.
