Rinascimento rug I by Sarah Balivo Dimensions: D 300 x W 200 cm Materials: Viscose, linen The Rinascimento collection drives its inspiration from Renaissance floorings, a pure chromatic interplay meant to create a three-dimensional volume on a bi-dimensional plane. This collection flaunts powdery colours and antique tones thus creating an overall sinuous shape. In the ‘Rinascimento – Blue’ rug, you can spot the deep blue and the grayish sandstone, a chromatic combination chosen by Brunelleschi in 1419–1427 for the Spedale degli Innocenti (‘Hospital of the Innocents’) – a historic building in Florence, Italy. Italian Architect and Set Designer, Sarah is Born in 1988, in Aversa (Na- ples, Italy), where she lives and studies until she graduates in Architecture. In 2012 she moves to Milan to fulfil her dreams. And here she becomes a Set Desiger for the Fashion & Luxury world. Hereby she works for Fendi, Ferragamo and several other luxury brands. Other meaningful experiences – besides Milan and Paris fashion shows – are the Fendi show at Fontana di Trevi and the Fendi show at the Colosseum (both in Rome), as well as many important fashion events in Shanghai and Seoul.
