Stunning, circa 1900 hand painted Romanian clothes trunk or marriage coffer chest depicting married couple portraits and tulip paintings I have recently purchased a very large collection of these original, antique painted wardrobes and trunks. This one is an exceptionally good looking well made and collectable piece, the hand painted detailing is exquisite throughout, this one as mentioned shows a large colourful Tulips to the front with pictures of married couples to the side of the flowers Condition wise this chest has all the original paint, finish and hardwear, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect, all of which add to the honesty, charm and charisma of the wardrobe Dimensions Height:- 37.5cm Width:- 103cm Depth:- 45.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
